Operating referendum — Smith-Green Community Schools
Asks voters whether Smith-Green Community Schools may keep collecting an extra school property tax for up to 8 years to pay for health and safety, teachers and staff, class sizes, transportation and academic programs. The rate would be up to $0.4988 per $100 of assessed value, no more than $2,176,300 a year. This renews an existing tax; if it fails, the filing says a median home ($200,000) would pay about $431 less per year. Only voters inside this jurisdiction vote on it. DLGF filing ↗
